Introduction

Learn how DockSpark brings browser profiles and private windows to your macOS Dock.

What is DockSpark?

DockSpark is a native macOS utility for moving between browser profiles without opening browser menus. Hover over Safari, Firefox, or a supported Chromium-based browser in the Dock, then choose the profile or private window you need. Supported browsers include Google Chrome, Chromium, Microsoft Edge, Brave Browser, Vivaldi, Opera, Opera GX, and Arc.

  • Profile switching: Open work, personal, and development environments from one compact panel.
  • Private browsing: Start a private or incognito window without searching through a menu.
  • Local by design: Your profile configuration stays on your Mac with no account required.

How it works

  1. Hover over a browser. Rest your pointer on a supported browser icon in the Dock.
  2. Choose an environment. Select a configured profile or the private browsing action.
  3. Keep moving. DockSpark asks the browser to switch or open the selected environment.
