## Or install with Homebrew

```bash
brew trust --cask dockspark/tap/dockspark && brew install --cask dockspark/tap/dockspark
```

- **System requirement:** macOS 14.0 or later
- **Price:** Plans from $0
- **Data:** Stored locally on your Mac

## Three simple steps.

1. **Download DockSpark.** Download the official DockSpark DMG directly. Do not use GitHub's source code archives.
2. **Install DockSpark.** Open the disk image and drag DockSpark.app to Applications. Do not keep running the app from the read-only DMG.
3. **Allow access.** Follow the macOS prompt to grant Accessibility access so DockSpark can detect the Dock icon under your cursor. Reading Chromium or Firefox profiles may later request Full Disk Access.

## Built for your browser workflow.

DockSpark 0.4.0 supports Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, Chromium, Microsoft Edge, Brave Browser, Vivaldi, Opera, Opera GX, and Arc on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs. The browser still isolates cookies and sign-ins; DockSpark only moves the choice to the moment you reach for the Dock icon.

### What to do after you install

Grant Accessibility so DockSpark can see the Dock icon under your pointer. Add the browser profiles you already use—DockSpark does not create them inside Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. Reading Chromium or Firefox profiles may request Full Disk Access. Then hover the browser icon in the Dock and pick work, personal, or a private window.

### Signed download, local configuration

The download is a signed and notarized DMG. A ZIP is also available, and in-app Sparkle updates still use the ZIP. You can also install with Homebrew. Profile names, colors, and sort order stay on your Mac. When a new release adds browser support or Dock behavior fixes, check the release notes and use Check for Updates in the app.
