## Dock position

### Bottom, left, or right

DockSpark calculates the panel position from the current Dock orientation and the browser icon's location. On a left or right Dock, the hover list is a compact vertical stack and stays beside the visible Dock instead of overlapping it.

Right-clicking or Control-clicking a Dock icon closes the popover immediately so it does not cover the system Dock menu.

## Moving into the panel

You can move the pointer from a Dock icon into the profile popover, including diagonally. DockSpark keeps a short protected path so briefly crossing a neighboring icon does not switch profiles or dismiss the panel. The path stays active only while the pointer continues toward the popover, exits sooner when you move away, and ignores minor pointer jitter. The panel dismisses when the pointer leaves both the icon and the popover.

## Auto-hide

When Dock auto-hide is enabled, DockSpark waits for the Dock to expand before showing the profile panel. Keep the pointer over the browser icon for a moment longer than you would with an always-visible Dock.

## Multiple displays

DockSpark prefers the display beneath your pointer, so the panel follows the Dock you are actively using. macOS controls which display shows the Dock.
