## Get DockSpark

The Free plan requires no account or invitation. It supports 1 browser with up to 3 named profiles; paid licenses expand browser, Profile, and Mac limits.

## Install with Homebrew

If you use Homebrew, install DockSpark from its official tap. Homebrew 6 requires trusting this third-party cask before installing:

```bash
brew trust --cask dockspark/tap/dockspark && brew install --cask dockspark/tap/dockspark
```

## Update from 0.3.2

If DockSpark 0.3.2 is already installed, choose **Check for Updates** in the app to install 0.4.0. You can also open **Check for Updates…** from the menu bar status item or Settings.

## Install the app manually

1. **Download the application DMG.** Use `DockSpark-0.4.0.dmg`, not GitHub's automatically generated source code archives. A ZIP is also available.
2. **Open the disk image and move the app to Applications.** Drag `DockSpark.app` into Applications. Do not keep running the app from the read-only DMG.
3. **Launch DockSpark.** Open it from Applications and follow the first-run permission prompts.

## Keep DockSpark running

Closing the main window does not quit DockSpark. The app remains available in the background so it can respond to Dock hover events. Reopen the main window from the menu bar or Dock icon, or choose Quit DockSpark to exit completely.

In **Settings → General**, you can show or hide the menu bar icon and the Dock icon. Hiding the Dock icon keeps the Settings window in front. If both icons are hidden, reopen DockSpark from Launchpad or Applications after closing the window.
